Making Quiche

Food Tech

Today during food tech at Tamaki college we each made a delicious quiche. As I was making this I found most of the preparation difficult, because there were a lot of things to do before making the actual quiche itself. Once we made the quiche and it came out of the oven, I could smell the delightful scent of the quiche. When I tasted this dish I thought it was extremely good because it had so much yum flavor in it. Thankyou very much Mrs Heka for deciding to make this wonderful quiche.

Technology - Food Tech

On Monday for food tech I made this delicious meal, which was a warm potato salad with  sausages. I really enjoyed this meal, and thought it tasted extremely good because it had so much flavor in it. As I was making this it reminded me of cooking at home, because I have also made something similar to this meal too. Thank you very much Mrs Heka for choosing to make this yum meal for food tech.

How to get along with your classmates

Classmates are not always easy to get along with. At times you may feel as if you just want to fight or say nasty words to a particular person or group of people. However there are ways which may take a while in order for you to get along with your classmates and have a good friendship.

Telling them how you feel about hating each other. This might help because after all you could be fighting until the end of the school year. By the time it is over you will probably feel exhausted and out of energy to fight back at the person with whom you don’t get along. As a result trying this out could just make you best friends again.

Avoiding each other and not trying to annoy one another especially during class. Doing this in class and outside for a couple of days or even a week could just give you both a chance to be friends again. At first the result might not be as good as you want it to be, but it’s definitely worth a try. After all you will then have the time to think about what you have done and what you can do to fix your friendship.

Helping each other out whether it be during class or outside is one way to improve your friendship. If one day your enemy is struggling in class with their work or they had an accident outside while playing, helping them out would be good because you will both start communicating and getting along which is what you want, unless you want to stay enemies forever.

These are just some simple ways  for you to get along with your classmates. Even though it may be challenging at first, taking your time and waiting for the perfect time to do these thing may just even put a smile back on your face as well as your classmates.

Adding and Subtracting Decimals

Screenshot 2017-07-25 at 10.50.19.png

Today I have been  adding and subtracting decimals. I was given different numbers to subtract, and I had to try my best to get the correct answer so that it would match the number sentence. As I was doing this, I found it easy because I was able to answer most of the questions. When I completed this work I managed to get 68/100 which to me was okay, since it was my first time. Next time I do this activity I will be aiming at getting 100/100.
